Arranged Marriage

It's a trope near and dear to our hearts. Arranged marriage.

Maybe it's for the family. Maybe it's for a friend. Maybe you know the person and have been expected to marry them for years. Maybe it's the wedding day and you have no clue who it is you'll be tied to for your natural life. Maybe you've been married a while, and you're just now starting your life, away from the expectations of others. Or maybe, the "others" are watching, waiting, making sure this marriage sticks.

Prompts for those who need them:

Reasons:

1. Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
2. Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
3. Economics → Your economic state and/or your station will improve through the union, though one of you may be marrying down.
4. Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.
6. Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement, alternately you're the spoils of war.
8. Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
7. Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

Scenario:

1. First meeting → This is the very first time you're meeting your future spouse.
2. Courtship → To get to know each other and encourage affection, your family has approved of you going on dates.
3. Engagement party → Be it a huge, formal affair or a small, intimate get together, you're celebrating (or pretending).
4. Wedding day → The big day!
5. Reception → The big party!
6. Wedding night → Every meme needs a smut prompt, right?
7. Honeymoon → Where will you go with your new spouse and what will you do there?
8. Been at this a while → Just starting to get to know the other person

She shivers, the heat building as he plays with her and moves in and out of her. Her body still sensitive from earlier, and as their pace quickens, she reaches her peak quickly. She gives a sharp cry, muffled between them, as she clings onto him, the muscles around him tightening while her body rocks with pleasure.

That's what he needed. He moves his hand, rolls his hips, then stutters against her as he orgasms inside of her. He groans out into their kiss, and then breaks it, leaning his forehead against hers, panting.

He wraps both arms around her and falls backward on the bed. He cradles her to him, brushing her hair back from her face. He's never moving again. That was too nice. She killed him dead.

She feels the heat of his orgasm flow into her, which only adds fuel to her own fire. With another moan, she returns his kiss as she rests on top of him, feeling completely spent.

As he holds her close, she shivers a bit, snuggling into him. She can feel his length softening inside her, but makes no effort to move or pull him out of her yet. Right now, she just wants to feel him all around her.

She shivers and his arms tighten on her. "You cold?" He whispers, into the silence of the room. Unfortunately, they're laying on top of the blankets and will have to move. Kevin doesn't want to move right now.

He finger combs her hair, careful of any possible snags. He gently works out the snags her does discover. He kisses her again, glad he can.

She nestles in against him, her head resting on his chest. "Maybe a little..." she says softly. Because now that he mentions it, as the heat in her body is dying down and the air cools around them, she's starting to feel a bit chilly.

Though it's not the cold that causes another shiver as he combs his fingers through her hair. She returns the kiss with another soft sound, feeling very satisfied and relaxed.

He smiles, kissing her back. This... this is something he never thought he'd have. He wants to savor it. Still, it doesn't do her any good to be cold. He grunts and reaches out for the blanket on the other bed. With a hard tug, he pulls it over and covers the pair of them up.

"There, can't have you catchin' cold." He teases, holding onto her. He doesn't want her to move. Though, they never did finish that dance. He's still finger combing her hair and holding her gently. This, this is something special to him and he'll never forget. The rings on his fingers symbolize a lot to him. Not just marriage and faithfulness, but a chance at something normal.

She giggles softly as she settles underneath the blanket with him. “Thank you,” she replies, content to lie there with him. It feels a bit strange to think they would end up this way, after the reservations they had about getting married in the first place. And while it isn’t quite how she imagined getting closer to Kevin, she’s surprised to find that she doesn’t mind how things turned out.

Maybe the Professor hadn’t been so crazy after all.

Kevin wouldn't go that far. Charles Xavier is a nut case on his good days. Today hadn't been one of those. But maybe he'd not been completely wrong. Kevin likes that she's small enough to snuggle in on his chest. That's... alright, it makes him feel possessive and manly. He knows good and well that Kitty could phase him into a wall or something, but he can't help but feel protective of her, when they're like this. Call it the caveman instinct.

He keeps combing her hair. "You never did get your pizza." He murmurs after a little while. Honestly, he could go for food right now. A glance at the time. They've got time until the one place closes.

Honestly, she’s used to being people being protective over her. It comes with being younger than most of the main team. But it feels different when it’s just them like this, and while they both know that she’s more than able to take care of herself, she also likes the feeling that he’s taking care of her too.

The reminder of the pizza gets another giggle from her, and she follows his gaze to the clock. “I wouldn’t mind getting one now,” she says. Except the phone is all the way over there.

He chuckles. the phone is all the way over there, and it's impossible for him to reach it, with her on top of him. "Well, that does create a problem." He says, amused. "Because I'm stuck." He grins. "My beautiful wife has me pinned to the bed."

So, really, they have a choice. They can go to bed hungry, because neither is willing to move, or they can move and get food. Kevin kinda really wants food. But he's not willing to move Kitty to get it.

Tonight has turned out far better than he thought it might.

She giggles softly. "That is a predicament," she teases. She doesn't feel like getting up either, and wishes that she hadn't plugged her cellphone to charge so far away either.

Eventually, though, she does draw away from him to sit up slowly, already starting to feel a bit of soreness between her legs. She takes a moment to stretch her body before sliding off the bed, picking up the discarded bathrobe and slipping it back on.

"What do you like on your pizza?" she asks as she picks up the menu to look up the number. "Keep in mind, I'm a vegetarian."

She's beautiful. He can't quit marvelling over how he never saw it before. But, if she's going to walk around in a bathrobe, he's not going to complain. He knows what's under there.

He puts an arm behind his bed, proudly naked, and just watching her. "Get two pizzas. We can leave some for breakfast?" He's not vegetarian, and hopes she won't ask him to change, just because she is. "Put everything but onions, olives and anchovies on mine." He's pretty easy going about his pizza, except one place. That place? The ham is divine and he loves it. He'll get a pizza with just ham on it.

He finally sits up and reaches for his wallet. Fishing it out of his jeans, he hands her.a bona fide Warren Worthington III credit card. Knowing rich people is nice.

She definitely wouldn't ask him to become vegetarian for her sake, just as long as he doesn't expect her to cook. Not just because cooking meat might be difficult for her...but cooking in general is not one of her best skills.

Maybe she should try taking lessons.

Considering the option for a moment, she nods and takes the credit card with a small laugh. Honestly, if it wasn't under Warren, she would've used the card she'd gotten from the Professor. He was, after all, the reason for all this in the first place, so the least he could do was pay for their expenses.

After dialing the number and placing the order for two pizzas, (one vegetarian, one with the works except onions, olive, and anchovies). After the order is placed, she hangs up and lies back down next to him.

"They said it'll be about half an hour," she replies. "So we've got some time."

See; Kevin loves to cook. Loves it. So she doesn't have to cook, because he'll cook enough for both of them ~~and half the mansion~~. Plus, he knows that if he tries vegetarian recipes, as he's done anonymously in the past, she'll at least try them and give decent feedback.

He settles next to her again, letting her use one arm as a pillow. He rolls up on his hip and pushes her bathrobe out of the way, tracing along her side. "Alright." He says, softly, just wanting to hold and touch her. This is the way he wants to spend his evening now that he can.

"You can get some rest, I'll listen for the pizza."

She gives a soft noise in contentment, a slight shiver underneath her skin that follows the touch of his finger. "I can rest and stay awake," she replies, looking up at him. "Maybe we can talk a bit."

Talking just generally doesn't go well for him. He gets tongue tied, and trying to be honest while not being too honest is just hard! He flicks her hair over her shoulder, settling his hand on her hip. He kisses the tip of her nose, and smiles.

"Alright. You can ask me anything. You know that, right?" He says. His life, except for a few sore subjects, is an open book and has been since he arrived at the mansion. Most people know him pretty well from rumors if nothing else.

She returns the smile, resting one hand on his arm. "I know. But still I don't think I know all that much about you. The little things, like your favorite color, or what kind of music you listen to."

He chuckles, watching her. "The little things, huh?" He says. "Favorite color is blue. Deep blue, kinda almost black but not quite." He shrugs one shoulder. "You can get the same color out of metal, if you know what you're doing. Music, that depends. In the forge, I listen mostly to older rock. Aerosmith, Guns 'N' Roses, Metallica, things like that. In the car, it's country." He admits. Josh makes fun of his country listening, calling him a hick. Kevin just shoves him away, and ignores him.

She tilts her head a bit as she looks at him. There are a few things she wants to ask, but she isn't sure which to ask first. Eventually she settles on, "How do you get color from metal?"

He grins. He loves talking about metal and working with it. Ever since he came to the mansion, he'd wanted to continue his metalwork. Luckily, the professor had been very encouraging about that. Even if there were some - Cessily, he's thinking of you - who refused to stay out of his workshop, and eventual forge.

"It depends on the type of metal. Heat treatments bring out different colors in metals. Then, if you mix ores, sometimes, you get interesting combinations and colors. Doesn't make it easier to work with - makes some down right dangerous or tedious - but it's fun to experiment." He plans on giving her a key to his forge so that she can go out there whenever she wants. It can be their own little refuge.

She can't help smile a bit as she listens to him talk. It was a subtle change, but the way his eyes seemed to light up when he started talking about metal work was...cute.

"So what are your favorite kinds of metals that you like to work with?"

He loves working with metal. There's a rigidity to it's flexibility. He knows that sounds dumb, but it's the truth. Besides, there's a few things that he's been practicing. He hopes to get the courage to follow through, but there's no guarantee.

"Tin's a good one, even if it is lightweight. It mixes well with a few types of metal to make something stronger. Iron, always. It's got a lot of applications. But there are a lot of subcategories of metal." He glances at her. "You can't find this fascinating. You sure you wanna hear about it?"

She laughs softly. "I'll admit, it's not really my thing," she says. "But I wanna know what you like. Besides, I don't usually get to hear you talk this much."

Which is true, honestly. She'd always thought of Kevin as someone who was rather quiet and reserved, so it was nice to get to see him talk about his passions.

He kisses her, quick and hard. People don't like listening to him talk - it doesn't help that he doesn't talk much - so for her to say so is... sweet.

"Well, I figured when we got back, I'd get you your own key to the forge." He says, quietly. "No reason I need a place to hide from my wife, now is there?" He asks. "You're always welcome out there, alright?" It's usually just him and Mimsy out there anyway. No one else comes out there, unless it's to force him to quit working to go do something stupid... like eat.

The sudden kiss takes her by surprise, but she returns it while she can. Looking up at him again, she smiles. "Thank you," she says quietly. "You'll give me a tour of it when we get back, right?"
