It's a trope near and dear to our hearts. Arranged marriage.

Maybe it's for the family. Maybe it's for a friend. Maybe you know the person and have been expected to marry them for years. Maybe it's the wedding day and you have no clue who it is you'll be tied to for your natural life. Maybe you've been married a while, and you're just now starting your life, away from the expectations of others. Or maybe, the "others" are watching, waiting, making sure this marriage sticks.

Reasons:

1. Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
2. Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
3. Economics → Your economic state and/or your station will improve through the union, though one of you may be marrying down.
4. Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.
6. Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement, alternately you're the spoils of war.
8. Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
7. Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

Scenario:

1. First meeting → This is the very first time you're meeting your future spouse.
2. Courtship → To get to know each other and encourage affection, your family has approved of you going on dates.
3. Engagement party → Be it a huge, formal affair or a small, intimate get together, you're celebrating (or pretending).
4. Wedding day → The big day!
5. Reception → The big party!

7. Honeymoon → Where will you go with your new spouse and what will you do there?

She sets the water to a pleasant heat, not cold but definitely not too hot. Standing under the water, she returns the kiss, keeping a hand on the wall so she wouldn't slip.

As his tongue plays with her nipple, she gives a soft sound, the water hitting her face as she tilts her head back, her arms wrapping around his neck and fingers tangling in his hair.

He runs his hands down her back, cupping her ass that fits oh so nicely in his hands. He kisses his way up to her mouth. His fingers trail around and gently slip between her legs. He slowly rubs at her, wanting her warm and ready for the next step.

"You're beautiful." He whispers against her lips. And not just because she's naked and willing. He thinks she's beautiful even fully clothed.

She moans softly as her body curves into his, the warm water suddenly nothing compared to the familiar heat that is starting to build as his hands touch her intimately.

“I didn’t know you thought so,” she admits breathlessly. Not that she had been trying to get his attention before, or that she cared about what other people thought of her. But she hadn’t really thought that he had noticed her looks before.

He hadn't, really, noticed, except in a 'she's an XMan, and she's hot' kind of way. He notices that everyone is pretty, in their own ways - though those thoughts had gotten him into trouble when he'd first arrived at the mansion. (Cess, really, he's looking at you.)

He hums against her lips. "You are." He whispers, still stroking her. Then, he stops, because while he wants to take his time, he knows they're on a time limit. "Trust me?"

She shivers a bit, then gives a protesting whimper when he stops. His question, though, has her looking up at him, and after a moment she nods.

“I do,” she affirms.

Kevin smiles, and kisses her hard. He puts an arm under her ass and lifts, bracing her against the wall. He wants her and that evidence nudges at her entrance for just a moment. Then, he slips her down onto him and he groans into her neck. His hips flex, hoping he isn't hurting her, but wanting to make love to his wife again.

She returns the kiss, her sound of surprise muffled between their lips. Somehow being tapped between him and the wall sends a thrill of excitement through her, which only doubles as she’s lowered onto him. Her arms wrap around his neck, and her legs around his hips, pulling him even close as she gives a sharp moan.

He loves that he can draw sounds out of her. Sounds that mean he's doing something right. He starts to move her, slowly. Up and down. The water provides a slick surface for her to move against, and the warmth of the water just seems to heat up his body.

Holding onto her, he braces one hand on the wall and just moves with her. His mouth drinks in hers, absorbing any and all sounds she makes.

Kevin has a new goal: to make her shout his name, when she comes. Not in the mansion, obviously, but definitely while they're on this little honeymoon. He's got two weeks to do it. Hopefully that's enough time.

She clings on to him, moaning against his lips as he moves in and out of her. A pulse of electricity spikes through her, and the muscles around him tighten which adds more friction to the movements.

He groans as well. This is better than he could have hoped. He kisses her again, his tongue fucking in and out of her mouth in time with their bodies. He keeps moving, though, wanting her to find her fulfillment. His hands move her faster, his hips moving a bit faster as well.

Her breath hitches, the increased pace sending more sparks through her body, heat pooling into her core. Her tongue rises to meet his, as she tries to move her hips in time with him for more of the feeling.

"Kevin..." she gasps, desperate for more.

"Kitty..." He hisses against her mouth. His hips move faster, but his one hand travels down, catching her breast and then, pressing where their bodies join. He kisses her again, groaning against her mouth.

She returns the kiss, and when his hand touches her intimately a more powerful jolt shoots through her, pushing her over the edge. Her sharp cry is muffled by his lips as the intense pleasure washes over her, and each thrust and the water still cascading over them adding to the sensation over her sensitive body.

He groans as he comes inside of her. Panting, he puts a hand against the wall, holding her up. He closes his eyes and kisses her slowly.

"Good morning." He whispers with a grin. That certainly was a nice wake up for him. He hopes she enjoyed it as much as she seemed to.

Breathing heavily, she returns the kiss with a soft sound, her body still tingling with residual pleasure.

“Good morning,” she responds with a breathless giggle. She had certainly enjoyed that.

He chuckles, just holding onto her. "You alright?" He asks, gently easing her down onto her feet and slipping out of her.

He gently cups her face in his hands, brushing his thumbs over her cheekbones.

She shivers as he pulls out of her, and she’s glad for his support because she’s feeling a bit weak in the knees.

“I think so,” she says after a moment. Then she laughs softly. “Though don’t be surprised if I fall asleep in the car.”

He chuckles. "It's only about six hours to Disney, so sleep all you want." He says, kissing her. "But I should clean up and take the suppressor off. It's about time." Unfortunately. He doesn't want to. He wants to keep it on, but he knows better. The headache will blind him, even if it's only temporary.

She nods, even as she frowns. “Yeah...” She feels sad for him, knowing that moments like this were temporary for him. Maybe she could talk to Forge and Hank when they got back to see if they could make a better version of the suppressor, one that he’d be able to wear longer.

“Do you want me to go so you can take it off now, or...?” She doesn’t mind either way, depending on what he needs. As much as she’d like to finish up shower now with him, she doesn’t want him to get hurt either.

Honestly, he was able to sleep next to his new wife, and have sex with her. That's more than he thought he'd get. So, he's not sad to take the suppressor off for a little while. He doesn't want to, but he knows it's better for him in the long run.

He shakes his head and pulls her against him. "No, stay with me?" He asks, softly.

With a small smile, she nods, curving into him as she combs her fingers through his damp hair.

“Sure,” she says softly.

He reaches for the shampoo and slowly starts with her hair. He has no problem washing her, if she wants. But right now, it's not about sex, or even teasing. It's just about that physical closeness that Kevin usually craves and is denied so far.

Once the conditioner is in her hair, he starts on the rest of her.

She gives a soft sound as he massages the shampoo into her scalp. While he does that, she lathers the soap and gently scrubs his body. When he starts on hers, she combs her fingers through her hair to rinse out the leftover conditioner.

He washes her. Not because of any desire to own her, or to possess her, but because... he wants to touch her. Not sexually, but intimately. He wants to explore all of her skin and just learn about it. He wishes they had more time.

But they don't. So, when he finishes up his ministrations, he washes his hair real quick, then kisses her. "Come on. We'll get dressed then go to breakfast. We'll take the pizza for lunch or something."

She returns the kiss while she can, then nods as she finishes cleaning up. "Sounds good. I could go for an omelet or something."

Not that she minded cold pizza, but a warm breakfast also sounded nice.

As she turns the water off, she glances at him, her eyes briefly going to the suppressor ring. "How're you doing?"
