Arranged Marriage

It's a trope near and dear to our hearts. Arranged marriage.

Maybe it's for the family. Maybe it's for a friend. Maybe you know the person and have been expected to marry them for years. Maybe it's the wedding day and you have no clue who it is you'll be tied to for your natural life. Maybe you've been married a while, and you're just now starting your life, away from the expectations of others. Or maybe, the "others" are watching, waiting, making sure this marriage sticks.

Reasons:

1. Station → You come from a royal, noble, or otherwise distinguished family who has chosen a suitable spouse for you.
2. Feud → You are being married to put an end to the bitter enmity between your two families.
3. Economics → Your economic state and/or your station will improve through the union, though one of you may be marrying down.
4. Empire → You and your spouse are merging your businesses and/or property to create something more influential or profitable.
6. Tribute → You have been offered as a gift or appeasement, alternately you're the spoils of war.
8. Bloodline → Carrying on your distinguished family name has fallen to you and the equally well-bred spouse of your family's selection.
7. Disapproval → Your marriage has been arranged to keep you away from the person with whom you truly wish to be.

Scenario:

1. First meeting → This is the very first time you're meeting your future spouse.
2. Courtship → To get to know each other and encourage affection, your family has approved of you going on dates.
3. Engagement party → Be it a huge, formal affair or a small, intimate get together, you're celebrating (or pretending).
4. Wedding day → The big day!
5. Reception → The big party!
6. Wedding night → Every meme needs a smut prompt, right?
7. Honeymoon → Where will you go with your new spouse and what will you do there?
8. Been at this a while → Just starting to get to know the other person

“That’s really cool! Maybe you could teach me sometime.” Hopefully he’ll be able to keep his patience with her in the kitchen.

Brushing the crumbs from her hands, she closes the pizza box - she’s eaten more than she usually does, but there’s still three-fourths of a pizza left - and goes to put it in the fridge with his. Then she returns to the bed, taking another swig of root beer.

“Yeah, pretty much. It just ruins everything if I eat it.”

He smiles and shucks off his jeans again, crawling into bed. They should get an early start tomorrow, but probably won't. There's still time to get to Disney World, even if their reservation starts tomorrow. "I can try to teach you." He says, holding open his arms for her. "Miss Amelia, my neighbor before I became a mutant, taught me how to. She's the one I go see in Atlanta every now and again."

Doing a quick clean up, she then removes the bathrobe before joining him on the bed, settling into him. “I warn you, it isn’t pretty. The last time I tried baking was for home ec class in high school, and that’s because the muffins I made were bouncy enough to use for racquetball practice. So no one wanted me to practice anymore.”

And she only wishes she was exaggerating.

He chuckles. "Alright, so maybe start with something a bit more simple." He kisses her temple. He could get used to this. Grimacing, he reaches for his phone and sets an alarm. No need to oversleep the length of time he can wear the suppressor after all.

"Maybe we'll take over the lake house for a while, and you can learn to cook there." He teases, pulling her into his side. He tilts her chin up a bit. "Or, I can just be your house husband while you go out and save the world. Slave over a hot stove for you." He teases, before kissing her.

She giggles, lightly nudging him a bit before leaning into him as she returns the kiss.. “Hmm...I kinda like the sound of that,” she teases back, brushing some loose hair from his face.

He chuckles warmly. He's going to be out saving the world too, but this is comfortable, teasing... light. He likes it. He kisses her again, knowing that they need to get some sleep. But he likes kissing her.

"We should sleep. Disney tomorrow after all." He says, smiling. Maybe this won't be so bad.

It is nice, and much different than Kitty expected things to be. But in a good way.

"Right," she replies with a nod, yawning a bit now that things are settling down. It really has been a long day.

Kevin just holds her all night. He's missed this. Since he and Josh broke up, he hasn't had anyone to snuggle, beyond Mimsy and her breath smells. He's set the alarm so he can take the suppressor off so he doesn't get a headache.

When it starts buzzing in the morning, he groans and twists to shut it off, but there's hair across his chest and it takes him a moment to realize... oh yeah, he has a wife now, and they'd spent a very nice evening. He wonders... Checking the time, he has enough left that they can have a nice morning too, if she wants.

Gently, he kisses her, trying to wake her up.

Kitty sleeps all through the night, the stress and worry over the past few weeks or so eased away by the warm arms that are holding her. The alarm in the morning has her stirring slightly, but it's the kiss that pulls her back from slumber.

She slightly surprised, before the events of the day before break through the sleep still clouding her mind. But as she awakens more fully, she returns the kiss with a soft sound.

He smiles against her lips. His hands roam over her slowly, his intent clear. Morning biology indeed, and he wants to put that erection to use.

"Morning." He says, kissing her again. "We've got an hour until I have to take the suppressor off." Kevin is definitely a morning person. He likes getting up early - not necessarily for a workout - but he loves the early morning when there aren't many people around the Mansion stirring, and he can have a damned cup of coffee in peace.

But if she acts the least bit disinterested, he'll go take his shower and leave her be.

She shivers at his touch, knowing exactly what he wants. She giggles softly, glancing up at him.

"Is that enough time?" she asks. Despite what people think of her, she's actually a morning person too, though she wouldn't say no to sleeping in. She's mostly asking, though, since because she doesn't want him getting hurt in case things run a bit too long.

He smiles, because she's not objecting. "Well, that depends." He says, kissing her neck. One hand reaches around and grips her ass, pulling her against him. "How sore are you?" There are several reasons for him asking that. If she's too sore, he'll treat her to something different. If she's not, he'll scoop her up and show her how shower sex is done.

Actually, he could do something different while in the shower too. But he still wants to know if she's sore, because if she is, he'll be gentler.

She takes in a breath as he pulls her closer, even as she considers his question. Though there is a bit of soreness, he’d been gentle enough before that it isn’t too bad, despite it having been her first time.

“Not too sore,” she replies with a small smile.

He's glad of that. He hadn't wanted to hurt her. He knows that it doesn't hurt everyone, and it's not the same for everyone their first time, but he'd still worried that she would be uncomfortably sore this morning.

"Wanna take a shower?" He asks, pushing hair out of his way so he can nuzzle her neck a bit. "See what kinda fun we can get up to in there?" Then, they can take off the suppressor and hit the road for Disney. He doesn't want to - he's perfectly content to stay in this bed with her - but they've got to do something in between the times he can wear the suppressor.

She gives a soft sound as he tickles her neck. "Sounds interesting," she says. She's only really heard of shower sex from movies, though she'd be lying if she said she isn't curious.

He kisses her neck, then her lips and climbs out of bed. He holds out a hand to her, not bothered by his nudity, or his obvious arousal, at all.

Kevin hopes the bathroom will fit both of them. It's just a standard hotel bath, but they're not large people. Still, the idea of being with her again makes his erection throb.

She can't help taking note of his already hardened member, and she can't help a small smile to herself knowing that she's the reason for it. Taking his hand, she then slips out of bed and follows him into the bathroom.

Luckily the shower should manage to fit them both...even if it means they'll have to get very close.

He turns on the water. Being himself, he lets her set the temperature, because he doesn't want to boil her alive - his showers are two temperatures: Arctic and Hell, there is no in between. Still, he holds her hand until they're in the shower, and then, he cups her face in his hands and kisses her slowly. He lets her stay in the spray, content to just have the residual drops hit him.

Kevin wants to do a lot, but they don't have much time. So, he bends and takes a nipple into his mouth, rolling it around his tongue.

She sets the water to a pleasant heat, not cold but definitely not too hot. Standing under the water, she returns the kiss, keeping a hand on the wall so she wouldn't slip.

As his tongue plays with her nipple, she gives a soft sound, the water hitting her face as she tilts her head back, her arms wrapping around his neck and fingers tangling in his hair.

He hums against her lips. "You are." He whispers, still stroking her. Then, he stops, because while he wants to take his time, he knows they're on a time limit. "Trust me?"

She shivers a bit, then gives a protesting whimper when he stops. His question, though, has her looking up at him, and after a moment she nods.

“I do,” she affirms.

Kevin smiles, and kisses her hard. He puts an arm under her ass and lifts, bracing her against the wall. He wants her and that evidence nudges at her entrance for just a moment. Then, he slips her down onto him and he groans into her neck. His hips flex, hoping he isn't hurting her, but wanting to make love to his wife again.

She returns the kiss, her sound of surprise muffled between their lips. Somehow being tapped between him and the wall sends a thrill of excitement through her, which only doubles as she’s lowered onto him. Her arms wrap around his neck, and her legs around his hips, pulling him even close as she gives a sharp moan.
