She nodded as he talked. It was nice. Having an actual conversation that didn't involve conflict or politics. It felt... Normal. The food was good. Better than the processed crap she'd been eating.

"Good point." She paused before giving him a small smile. "Sarah, huh?" Her eyes sparkled with humor. She couldn't help but tease him in much the way she used to tease Steve. "I'm glad you're getting out and doing things. Working with people. It's good."

She... Couldn't. When she left the compound she always felt the stares of everyone who knew who she was. Knew she'd failed them.
