For thweeknd
Brigid is a busy little wolf. She works full time, spends time helping the pack and then she volunteers. Her favorite place to volunteer is the Veteran's Affairs hospitals. She brought a few books from home for a couple of favorites that are stuck in the hospital long-term.
She gathers up her cart of books and starts heading down the floors. She stops and talks to each of the veterans that want to talk. She gets to the active duty floor and hears that there's a new patient. Injured in a bike crash.
She rolls her eyes, but nods at the admonishment that he's a bit of a flirt. Not her first time.
She goes to see her favorites on the floor first. She has several books to drop off, and then taps at the new guy's door. She sticks her head round and smiles. "Hi!" She says, brightly.
Her Da had always said that a soldier likes to see a smiling face. It's what she always tries to project to the men and women here. "I brought books, if you'd like something to read?" She asks brightly.
She used to bring treats, but the doctors had gotten on her about ruining the diets of some of the soldiers. She still sneaks some every now and again. Shhh.
