"Last picture of the two of them." Miss Amelia says, running her hand over a picture. Kevin's about six, lacking a couple of teeth, and sitting next to his mother who is resting in a lounge chair on the grass, her big roses behind her. He's got his head down and a book in his lap. "She passed on about a week after this." She shakes her head.
