He'd made his decision the minute he'd stepped out here and seen her feeding the turtleducks. That more than anything had made the decision in his heart. He would marry Katara. Not for the good of the nation, or for the world, but because she was all at once, sweet, gentle, caring, just, fierce, loyal and protective. For that he will marry her.

But only if she agrees.

He nods. "Putting things right, fixing everything my father and Axula did takes time. I'll have meetings until dinner." He thinks about it for a moment, and then steps up to her, taking her hand. "Have dinner with me?"
